Ap Orkan Ozturk

Orkan Ozturk has over 20 years of work experience in various roles in the construction and project management industry. Orkan is currently the Head of the Commercial Department at Lustica Bay, starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Coordinator at North Star Montenegro from January 2019 to September 2022.

From 2013 to 2019, Ozturk served as the General Manager at ARKAD YAPI. Before that, they held multiple positions at Yapi Merkezi, including Project Development & Technical Coordinator, Sustainability & LEED Process Manager, and Project Development Manager.

Earlier in their career, Ozturk worked at Centennial Contractors as a Project Manager and Project Engineer, overseeing and managing construction projects for various government contracts. Orkan also gained experience as a Project Engineer at Formula 1 Istanbul Circuit Construction and as a Field Engineer at Koray.

Overall, Ozturk has a strong background in project management, coordination, and development, with expertise in sustainability and LEED processes.

Orkan Ozturk, LEED AP, received a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with dual concentrations in Structural Engineering and Construction Engineering & Management from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 2000 to 2003. Orkan furthered their education at the same university, earning a Master's degree in Construction Engineering & Management from 2004 to 2005.

In terms of certifications, Orkan Ozturk obtained the LEED Accredited Professional certification from the Green Building Certification Institute in February 2009. Additionally, they achieved the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Licensure from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying in April 2004. Orkan also holds certifications in Construction Quality Management from the US Army Corps of Engineers, and Instructor Certification in Sustainability Training from the NCCER. Furthermore, they are certified in JOC/Facilities Estimating by RS Means from RS MEANS COMPANY LLC.
