Nicholas Rutman

Nicholas Rutman has a diverse work experience spanning various educational and customer service roles. Nicholas has worked as a Research Surveyor at Luth Research, conducting customer satisfaction surveys at the DFW Airport. Nicholas has also worked as a Tutor at Grade Potential Tutoring, providing academic assistance to students from Elementary to High School.

In the field of education, Nicholas has held positions such as an 8th Grade English Teacher at International Leadership of Texas, teaching English Language Arts and Reading to 6th and 8th grade students. Nicholas has also worked as a High School English Teacher at Harmony School of Excellence, teaching core English and High School Debate. Additionally, they have experience as a Middle/High School English Teacher at Gallup-McKinley County Schools, teaching core English and specialized courses like creative writing and technical writing.

Earlier in their career, Nicholas worked as an Online ESL Teacher at VIPKID, teaching English as a second language to children ages 4-15. Nicholas also served as an Elementary School Teacher at Challenger School - Strawberry Park, teaching various subjects to 3rd-grade students. Prior to that, they worked as an ESL Teacher at WIZARD IDIOMAS, teaching English to high school and college-level ESL students.

Nicholas has also had experiences outside of education, including a brief role as a Long Term Substitute Kindergarten Teacher at Gilroy Unified School District. Additionally, they worked as a Keyholder at The Kitchen Collection, LLC, where they were responsible for store operations and organization. However, due to a family emergency, they had to abruptly leave the role.

Nicholas Rutman obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Portuguese, Visual Arts, and Psychology from Brigham Young University from 2008 to 2014. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including a TESOL 120-hour Certification from ITT International TEFL and TESOL in May 2019, a TESOL VIPKid Advanced Certification from VIPKid in December 2018, a TESOL-VIPKid Foundational Certification from VIPKid in December 2018, an AutoCAD 2D Certification from AutoCAD 2D in October 2015, an AutoCAD 3D Certification also from AutoCAD 3D in October 2015, and a CBEST certification from the California Educator Credentialing Examinations.
