Stephen Marsh

Stephen Marsh is a dedicated chaplain at Luther Manor, providing compassionate support in a life plan community since March 2022, where recognition includes an “above and beyond” award for service excellence. As a board member for Outreach for Hope within the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America since June 2021, Stephen contributes to strategic assistance for urban congregations. Previous roles include transitional consultant for a challenged inner-city congregation and project manager at Criterion Institute, focusing on social change through finance. Stephen's pastoral leadership includes serving as co-pastor at Lake Edge Lutheran Church and as a denominational executive in Southeast Michigan, where accomplishments involved fostering diversity and strengthening community outreach. Stephen holds a Master of Divinity from Trinity Lutheran Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science from Northwestern University.
