Dr. Stefan Mager

Dr. Stefan Mager currently serves as the Head of the Public Procurement Practice Group and Partner at Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH since February 2020, focusing on large-scale construction tenders, complex IT projects, and both EU-wide and national procurement of goods and services, overseeing the entire procurement process from announcement to award and documentation. Additionally, Dr. Mager holds the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board at SSP AG since October 2023 and was a Managing Partner and Attorney at Aulinger Rechtsanwälte Notare from November 2002 to December 2019. Dr. Mager completed a doctorate in public procurement and fee law under Prof. Dr. Martin Burgi at LMU from 2004 to 2006 and obtained a law degree (1. Staatsexamen) from Ruhr University Bochum from 1996 to 2000, followed by a legal traineeship (Referendariat) at the District Court of Essen, culminating in the 2. Staatsexamen from 2000 to 2002.
