Tilahun Mendedo

Tilahun Mendedo is an experienced leader and educator with a strong background in development and theology. Currently serving as a Development Executive for Lutheran Bible Translators since April 2017, Tilahun has previously held the position of Executive Development Officer at the same organization. From January 2010 to June 2016, Tilahun was the President of Concordia College-Selma, where significant advancements were made in diversifying the college's community and reconnecting with various stakeholders. Tilahun's academic experience includes teaching roles at the University of South Alabama and Spring Hill College, focusing on World Religions and African Philosophy. Additionally, Tilahun served as Pastor at Faith Lutheran Church and held an administrative position at the Ethiopian Evangelical Church Mekane Yesus. An accomplished academic, Tilahun holds a PhD in Missions Studies from Concordia Theological Seminary and has multiple theological degrees, showcasing a robust commitment to education and community engagement.
