Dave Kuhn

Dave Kuhn is an experienced culinary professional with a history of leadership in the food service industry. Currently serving as Executive Chef at Lutheran Senior Services since January 2017, Dave oversees a team of 22 and is responsible for managing food and labor costs while maintaining high-quality standards. Previously held roles include Manager of Dining Services for both the Care Center and Assisted Living at Lutheran Senior Services, achieving high resident satisfaction scores. Experience also includes serving as Food Service Director at Gateway Legacy Christian Academy, where Dave successfully led the opening of a new kitchen. Earlier in the career, Dave spent over 20 years at Kemolls Italian Restaurant, starting as a Roundsman and advancing to Executive Chef, where expertise in European cuisine and event management was developed. Dave holds a GED from Granite City High School.
