Kelsey Higgins

Kelsey Higgins, LMSW, has served as the Director of Social Services at Lutheran Senior Services since September 2017, where responsibilities include coordinating family visitation in accordance with COVID-19 guidelines and providing comprehensive social services to Assisted Living residents. Prior experience includes a role as Social Services Coordinator, delivering medically-related social services and facilitating discharge planning for rehabilitation residents. Kelsey has also worked as a Crisis Worker at Provident, Inc., honing crisis intervention skills, and held research assistant and student intern positions where contributions included literature reviews and supervised family visits, respectively. Kelsey holds a Master of Social Work from Saint Louis University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Psychology from Truman State University.
