Katie P.

Katie P. has a diverse work experience. Katie started their career in 2012 as a Payroll/Office Administrator at Road Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation, where they worked until 2015. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Human Resources Assistant, followed by a role as an HR Generalist from 2016 to 2017. Katie then joined Lutheran Social Services of New York (LSSNY) as an Assistant Director of Human Resources in 2017, where they were responsible for various HR activities such as recruitment, compliance reviews, and assisting the HR Director with benefit administration. In July 2022, they were promoted to the position of Director of Human Resources at LSSNY. In 2020, Katie P. also had a role as a Credit Repair Agent, which lasted until January 2021.

Katie P. earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Management from Berkeley College in 2011. Katie then pursued a Master of Science in Business (MSB) degree in Human Resources Management at City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College, which they completed in 2016. In addition to their formal education, Katie obtained a Certificate in Community Leadership and Social Change from the Institute for Nonprofit Practice in 2022, a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in 2021, and the NYS Notary Public certification from NYS Department of State in December 2012.
