Thomas Fischer

Thomas Fischer has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. Thomas started their career at Lufthansa in 2000 as a Manager of Market Development, where they stayed until 2006. In 2006, they joined Luxair as the Manager of Network Planning, a role they held until 2008. Thomas then moved up to the position of Assistant Vice President of Network Management until 2014. From 2014 to 2020, Fischer served as the Vice President of Planning and Airport Relations. Thomas then took on the role of Commercial Director until 2022 and was later appointed as the Nominated Person for Ground Operations. As of now, Fischer holds the position of Chief Commercial Officer at Luxair.

Thomas Fischer received a degree in Diplom-Betriebswirt (FH) from VWA Hochschule für berufsbegleitendes Studium from 1997 to 2000. During the same time period, they also obtained a degree in Luftverkehrskaufmann BA/LVK from Deutsche Lufthansa AG.
