Lucien Hoffmann

Lucien Hoffmann is a highly experienced professional currently serving as Science Director and Director of the Environmental Research and Innovation (ERIN) department at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) since January 2015. Additionally, Lucien is active in various prestigious roles including Académicien at the Académie Lorraine des Sciences, member of the LuxFLAG Environment Label Eligibility Committee, member of advisory groups for Luxinnovation GIE, and member of the shareholders committee for PHOENIX OITB. Lucien also holds positions with the Institut Grand-Ducal, serves on the Strategic Partnership Coordination Committee of the European Space Resources Innovation Center, and participates in scientific advisory roles related to climate and nature-related financial risks. Lucien has a strong academic background with a PhD and a Master's degree in Plant Sciences from the University of Liège, along with a certificate in creating activities from university research.
