Qiang Tang is a seasoned expert in information security and cryptography, currently serving as Group Leader and Senior Researcher at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology since December 2016. Prior to this role, Qiang worked as a Researcher at the University of Luxembourg from April 2012 to November 2016, focusing on the design and analysis of cryptographic protocols and privacy-preserving data engineering. Previous experience includes research positions at the University of Twente, where Qiang contributed to secure healthcare services and privacy-preserving technologies, as well as a research role at École Normale Supérieure, Paris, specializing in biometric authentication. Qiang holds a PhD in Information Security and Cryptography from Royal Holloway, University of London, a Master's degree from Peking University, and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from Yantai University.
