Jean Schiltz

Head Of Smart Mobility at Ministère de l'Économie - Luxembourg

Jean Schiltz has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2006, they worked as an Industrial Design Trainee at Enthoven Associates Design Consultants. Following that, they joined Zodiac International - Marine Dept. in 2008 as an Industrial Design Trainee. In 2009, they worked as an Assistant Pédagogique at Lycée Robert Schumann and also started working as a Project Officer in Technologies and Innovation Management at Luxinnovation GIE. From 2011 to 2017, Jean worked at Volkswagen AG, where they held different roles including Assistant @ Vehicle Concept Development, Geschäftsstellenleiter (Head of Staff), and Konzeptleiter. In 2017, they joined Ministère de l'Économie - Luxembourg as a Consultant Smart Mobility and later became the Head of Smart Mobility.

Jean Schiltz completed their education at three different institutions. From 1997 to 2001, they attended Lycée Robert Schumann and earned a Diplôme de Fin d'Etudes in Sciences. Jean then pursued a MSci in Mechanical Engineering (Automotive) at the University of Birmingham from 2001 to 2005. Finally, from 2005 to 2008, Jean completed a Masters degree in Engineering Design Management (in Transportation) at Rubika, ISD (Insitut Supérieur de Design).
