Tom Tullidge co-founded Cary Street Partners in 2002. He brings to Cary Street Partners over 30 years of experience as a trusted adviser and senior executive having worked with a broad range of companies in structuring, negotiating, and executing mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other complex corporate finance transactions in the United States and internationally.

From 1997 to 2002, Tom was with Wachovia Securities where he headed the Technology and Healthcare Mergers and Acquisitions Groups. Prior to joining Wachovia Securities, he served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary with Trigon Blue Cross Blue Shield and as a Vice President in Business Development. Tom was also a Partner with the law firm of McGuire Woods Battle & Booth, LLP and began his career as an accountant with Price Waterhouse. He is a board member of Gray Lumber Company, a privately held commercial real estate and land development company, and Carpenter Co., a privately held global producer of flexible polyurethane foam, chemicals, processed polyester fiber and other related products.

Tom is a graduate of the University of Virginia where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting as well as a Juris Doctorate degree.
