Adam Serafin has five years of work experience in robotics and engineering. In 2017, they began their career as a Robotics & AI Engineer and Intern - Machine Learning & Robotics Engineer at Fideltronik Poland. In 2019, they worked as a Robotics Consultant and a Robotics Engineering Intern at Ascent Robotics, Inc., where they helped prepare a pick and place system for IREX2019 expo, worked with hardware, vision systems and Kawasaki industrial robot arms, and wrote algorithms for analytics and improvement of latency in 3D cameras. In 2021, they became a ROS2 Robotics Software Engineer at InMotion Labs, where they developed mobile robot solutions based on ROS2 system, worked on sensor fusion, navigation, DevOps and control, and developed simulation scenarios as well as integrated custom robotics hardware. Currently, they are a ROS Developer at Luxonis.
Adam Serafin has a varied educational background in the fields of Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering, Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, and Mechatronics Engineering. From 2012 to 2017, they attended AGH University of Science and Technology, where they studied Mechatronics Engineering. In 2018, they completed a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at AGH University of Science and Technology. That same year, they also completed the Engineering Summer Programme at Tohoku University in the same field. In 2013, they attended the Aerospace Information Technology Summer School at The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. Adam also holds a Certificate of Proficiency in English from Cambridge Assessment English.
