Venkat Balachandran

Venkat Balachandran is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in building and managing applications across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Luxury Escapes since August 2024, Venkat has held similar roles at SoftwareOne, SafetyCulture, IAG, and Vicinity Centres, focusing on technologies such as Node.js, React, Redux, GraphQL, and PostGresDB. Prior to these positions, Venkat spent a decade at PayPal as a Member of Technical Staff, developing front-end frameworks and applications for financial management using various technologies, including Node.js, React, and Python for monitoring scripts. Venkat began the professional journey at Infosys Technologies Ltd as a Programmer Analyst and holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, earned between 2006 and 2008.
