Joao Uchoa

Joao Uchoa is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as Engineering Manager at Luxury Presence since January 2023, focusing on the development of the Presence Copilot app, an AI-powered mobile platform for real estate agents. Prior to this role, Joao was Head of Engineering at Right Balance, guiding a large team to enhance a proprietary candidate pipeline system and improve client and staff engagement. Previous experience includes managing software engineering teams at Wildlife Studios, Livox, and Motorola Mobility, alongside founding Octorb, a social communication startup. Joao holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco and Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, respectively.
