Giovanni Armando

Giovanni Armando has extensive experience in humanitarian action and international cooperation, currently serving as the Expert en action humanitaire et résilience au Sahel and West Africa Programs Coordinator at LVIA altrosviluppo since July 2004, focusing on project development, fundraising, public relations, and training of cooperants. Prior roles at LVIA altrosviluppo include Project Office Coordinator, West Africa Desk Officer, and Country Representative and Project Coordinator from August 1999 to December 2003. Giovanni's career began at the University of Lausanne, where from November 1992 to June 1998, Giovanni worked as an Assistant in Minéralogie. Giovanni earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Earth Sciences from the University of Lausanne and a Laurea in Earth Sciences from Università degli Studi di Torino, complemented by a Maturità from Liceo Scientifico Galileo Ferraris di Torino.
