Lance Paulsen

Lance Paulsen is an experienced education professional currently serving as the Director of College Counseling at Lycée Français de Chicago since August 2020. Previously, Lance held various roles at Chicago Public Schools from August 2007 to July 2020, including School Counselor and Department Chair at Lake View High School and Walter Payton College Preparatory High School, where unique guidance was provided to a diverse and high-achieving student body. In addition, Lance has served on advisory boards for undergraduate admissions at prestigious institutions including Brown University, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and the University of Chicago. Lance holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Iowa and a Master of Education in Human Services and Counseling from DePaul University.
