Kate Hummel

Associate Dean of Students at Lycoming College

Hummel was named associate dean of students in the fall of 2016 and was the director of residential life since she joined the college in 2012. Prior to joining Lycoming, Hummel served as the coordinator of residential services at Garrett College, where she created a residential life program and was responsible for the student code of conduct. Hummel is responsible for the oversight of the college’s student code of conduct, serves as the deputy Title IX coordinator, and supervises the departments of residential life and public safety.

Hummel earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Lynchburg College in Virginia.
