Joseph Benjamin

Joseph Benjamin is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Lydian since May 2023, focusing on the analysis, design, testing, and scaling of chemical reactors for the production of eSAF. Previously, Joseph worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Anduril Industries, where responsibilities included the design and development of the Roadrunner and Mobile Sentry systems. Experience also includes a Battery Manufacturing Engineering Internship at Tesla, where design of production tools and assembly stations was a key focus, and an Associate Structures Engineer role at SpaceX, contributing to the design and analysis of structures for the Starship program. Joseph led the Cornell Racing team, achieving the milestone of developing its first electric racecar, and has instructed hardware startup teams through the Rev: Ithaca Startup Works program. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, obtained in 2020.
