Christopher Frantz

Christopher Frantz is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector with extensive experience in asset management, operations, and environmental policy. Currently serving as a Board Member at Lydian Energy since January 2024 and a Partner and Managing Director of Operations at Excelsior Energy Capital since October 2019, Christopher leads teams focused on procurement, construction, and asset management for renewable energy projects in North America. Previously, as Vice President of Asset Management at Cypress Creek Renewables from 2015 to 2019, Christopher managed the company's solar asset portfolio to maximize value and cash flow. Early career roles include an Environmental Protection Specialist at the US EPA, where Christopher led key regulatory projects, and research positions at The Cadmus Group and M.L. Barrett, Inc. Christopher holds an MBA in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master's in Environmental Management from Duke University, complemented by a Bachelor's in Environment, Economics, and Politics from Claremont McKenna College.
