Dana Langworthy

Dana Langworthy has an extensive work experience in various talent acquisition and recruiting roles. Dana'smost recent position was as the Associate Director of Talent Acquisition at Lyell Immunopharma, where they were responsible for all aspects of talent acquisition in Seattle and Bothell, Washington. Prior to that, they worked as a Talent and People Partner at the same company, focusing on building an open, diverse, and inclusive culture for all employees.

Before joining Lyell Immunopharma, Dana worked at Omeros Corporation as a Talent Acquisition professional, and at Vir Biotechnology, Inc. as a Talent Acquisition Leader. At Vir Biotechnology, they managed the full life-cycle recruiting strategy and selection process for various teams, including Research & Development, Clinical Operations, Clinical Research, and more.

Dana also has experience outside of the biotech industry. Dana worked as a Senior Manager, Investor Relations Consultant at Coinme, where they consulted on a short-term Initial Coin Offering. Additionally, they have recruiting experience in the legal industry, having worked as a Senior Recruiting Business Partner at Juno Therapeutics and in various recruiting roles at Robert Half Legal, Langworthy Legal Search, LLC, Premier Talent Partners, Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigan, LLP, and Nelson Staffing.

Throughout their career, Dana has demonstrated a strong ability to develop and implement recruiting processes, manage end-to-end recruiting processes, and build diverse and high-performing teams. Dana is skilled in talent sourcing, screening, interviewing, and negotiation, and has experience in both direct hire and contract roles.

Dana Langworthy has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Fine/Studio Arts, General from The University of Texas at Austin. Prior to that, Dana graduated from Highland Park High School. Additionally, Dana has obtained a certification in Biotech Primer from the institution Biotech Primer in June 2016.
