David Barry

David Barry is a senior legislative attorney with over ten years of experience in creating legislation and policy at the intersection of technology, transportation, autonomy, and AI. They have served in various roles, including as Legislative Attorney and Executive Director of the Joint Commission on Technology and Science for the Commonwealth of Virginia, and most recently as Senior Manager of Legislative Counsel at Lyft. Additionally, they have worked as a Student Attorney and Research Assistant at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, and have been involved in teaching and organizing dance.
