Azadeh Alikhani

Azadeh Alikhani has extensive work experience in the field of fermentation. Azadeh most recently served as the Director of Fermentation at Lygos starting in May 2022. Prior to that, they held the same position at Huue from March 2022 to May 2022. Azadeh also worked at Lygos from April 2021 to March 2022, initially as the Director of Fermentation and then as a Senior Scientist. Before that, they were a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh from September 2003 to April 2010. Azadeh also had a brief internship as a Chemical Engineer at ICx-Agentase from March 2007 to June 2007.

Azadeh Alikhani earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, where they studied from 2003 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemical Engineering at Sharif University of Technology, although the specific duration of their undergraduate studies is unknown.
