Elsbeth Dowd possesses extensive experience in arts and historical society management, currently serving as Executive Director at Lyme Art Association since January 2019, where responsibilities include enhancing community awareness and support. Previously, Elsbeth held the role of Executive Director at Oysterponds Historical Society, managing financial stability, community engagement, and exhibitions, while overseeing a budget of $375k. Elsbeth also worked as Museum Registrar at Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History and Collection Manager of Archaeology at the University of Oklahoma, managing extensive archaeological collections and promoting research initiatives.
