Nicholas Howe is an experienced fire service professional and advocate with a diverse background in emergency response and community support. Currently serving as the Nebraska State Director for the Firefighter Cancer Support Network since October 2019, Howe also contributes as an Ambassador for the Lymphoma Research Foundation and a Public Speaker for The Driver Seat: A Patient Perspective. Past roles include firefighter and EMT positions at Eppley Fire & Rescue and the City of Bellevue Fire Department, as well as serving on the Board of Trustees for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's in General Studies with a focus on Fire Service Management from the University of Nebraska - Omaha and an Associate's Degree in Fire Protection Technology from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, alongside various fire service certifications.
