Alex Weingarten

Alex Weingarten is a dedicated physical education professional with extensive coaching and teaching experience. Currently serving as a Physical Education Teacher for the NYC Department of Education, Alex has held various roles including Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach and Teacher Aide at Lynbrook Union Free School District. Notably, Alex has gained valuable experience through internships in physical education and sport management, as well as coaching positions at East Rockaway Junior-Senior High School and Knights Nation. Alex's background includes a stint as a professional baseball player with the Gary SouthShore RailCats and experience in marketing and facility management. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Physical Education from Adelphi University and a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from SUNY Cortland.
