Justin Trent

Justin Trent has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Justin started their career at ColonialWebb as a Construction Intern in 2003, 2004, and 2005. In 2006, they worked as an Engineering Intern at The Shockey Precast Group, where they focused on evaluating the existing precast plant roof structure and performing calculations for parking structures. In 2007, they joined Stroud Pence & Associates, Ltd., working as a Staff Engineer and later as a Project Engineer until 2017. Since then, they have been associated with Lynch Mykins Structural Engineers, where they served as a Project Engineer from 2017 to 2019, a Project Manager from 2019 to 2020, and currently holds the position of Managing Director. In this female-owned firm, their focus is on prioritizing employees and clients while working on large-scale projects across various sectors.

Justin Trent attended Virginia Tech from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Justin continued their education at the same institution from 2006 to 2007, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
