Macey emphasizes data-driven strategies to enhance operational processes, financial management, and administrative functions. Previously, experience as Community Development Manager for the American Cancer Society involved managing a revenue portfolio focused on community engagement and fundraising initiatives. Earlier roles included clinical responsibilities at Adult & Pediatric Ear, Nose, Throat & Allergy of The Woodlands. Macey holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Services from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.

Lynchburg Beacon of Hope is an organization whose goal is to connect students with the tools and resources to succeed in school and in life! Our focus is to increase economic development in the region by increasing opportunities for awareness, achievement, access, and affordability. Beacon of Hope has Future Centers embedded into Lynchburg City Schools through a local private-public partnership and also offers FREE community college through promise scholarships. Beacon of Hope has raised over $6 million to date to provide Stay Close, Go Far Promise Scholarships and Commonwealth Scholarships for LCS graduates. If you'd like to get involved, just reach out!
