Jennifer McPhee McGovern has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Starting their career at Accenture as a Consultant from 1992 to 1996, they then worked as a Consultant at Analysis Group from 1998 to 2000. At Ariba, Inc., Jennifer served as the Director of Strategy from 2000 to 2002.
Jennifer then transitioned to Genzyme Biosurgery, where they held various roles including Director of Program Management from 2002 to 2005, Senior Director of Commercial Operations from 2005 to 2009, and Senior Director of Sales Strategy and Innovation from 2009 to 2010.
In 2011, Jennifer joined Ironwood Pharmaceuticals as the Senior Director of Commercial Program Management, later becoming the Vice President of Commercial Effectiveness from 2013 to 2015, the Vice President of Corporate Development and Corporate Performance from 2015 to 2017, and the Vice President of Corporate Development from 2017 to 2019.
Jennifer's most recent role was at Lyndra Therapeutics, where they first served as a Commercial Strategy, Corporate Development and Government Affairs Consultant from 2019 to 2020. Jennifer then progressed to Senior Vice President of Business Planning from 2020 to 2021, SVP Alliance and Program Management as well as the Oral Weekly Risperidone Program Leader from 2021 to present, and finally, SVP Portfolio Strategy and Operations as well as the Oral Weekly Risperidone Program Leader from 2023 to present.
In addition to their other roles, Jennifer is also a Member at Chief since 2021.
Jennifer McPhee McGovern received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Psychology from Middlebury College, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. Later on, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at MIT Sloan School of Management, specializing in New Product and Venture Development. Jennifer attended MIT from 1996 to 1998.
