Gonzalo Velasco

I have more than 20 years of experience in the aviation industry designing and managing airports. I have worked for several airports around the world including Heathrow and hold executive and board roles at Ferrovial Airports; developing long-term business plans, leading acquisition projects for a value of €15bn and divestment projects for a value of €5bn, managing a portfolio of airports (awarded twice as Best Airport Portfolio Manager in Europe), developing expansion plans and transforming airports after acquisition. During the last years, I have focused on Innovation and Sustainability at airports, creating a Vertiports' business model for advanced air mobility.
