Abigail Powell

Abigail Powell is a Marine Scientist at Lynker Technologies, contracted to NOAA since November 2016, where research and analyses support marine resource management efforts. Prior experience includes roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement from June 2015 to November 2016, IFREMER from December 2013 to June 2015, and Victoria University of Wellington from November 2012 to November 2013. Abigail Powell holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Marine Biology from Victoria University of Wellington, a Master of Science (MSc) in Biodiversity, Conservation and Management from the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biology from Durham University.
