Water Resources Scientist And Pod Lead at Lynker

Josh Sturtevant is a Water Resources Scientist and Pod Lead at Lynker, specializing in hydrologic modeling and ensemble streamflow forecasting since April 2021. Currently a Graduate Research Assistant at the Colorado School of Mines, Josh is funded by NOAA's CIROH. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate Scientist at NCAR, where support was provided for the SUMMA/MizuRoute models, and a Natural Resource Workforce Development Fellow at the Southwest Climate Adaptation Science Center, working on water resources management in the Upper Gila River basin. Josh also has a background in seasonal streamflow forecasting at the University of Nevada, Reno; project management at Acadia Harvest, Inc.; and outdoor education as an instructor at Hurricane Island Outward Bound School. Educational credentials include a PhD in Hydrology from the Colorado School of Mines and both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Hydrology and Geology, respectively.
