Yvette Smith

Yvette Smith is an accomplished opera singer with extensive experience in prestigious organizations. Since August 2008, Yvette has been performing with the Lyric Opera of Chicago. Previous roles include soloist with the National Philharmonic from 2005 to 2017, section leader at the Washington National Cathedral from 2006 to 2008, and opera singer with both the Washington National Opera and Wolf Trap Opera Company from 2004 to 2008. Yvette holds a Master of Music in Opera Performance from the University of Maryland, obtained between 1999 and 2002, and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, earned from 1996 to 1999.
