Junaid Ahmed is a Senior Metallurgist at Lyten since April 2023, specializing in the development of next-generation lithium alloys for enhanced electrochemical performance in lithium-sulfur batteries. Previously, Junaid completed a PhD at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where research focused on the structure-property relationships of complex alloys, alongside macro-scale deformation studies of high entropy alloys. Junaid has experience as an intern at Tesla, contributing to the structure-property relationship of Li-ion battery components, and has held academic positions, including a lecturer role at the University of Hafr Al-Batin. With a solid foundation supported by a Doctorate in Materials Science and a Master's degree in Materials Engineering, Junaid has also contributed to the field through various roles in research and management, highlighting significant achievements in production efficiency and materials characterization.
