Diogo Montes

Diogo Montes has a diverse and extensive work experience in the creative field. Diogo is currently the VP, GM, and Creative Director at M Booth, where they have been since 2020. Prior to that, they were the VP, Associate Creative Director at the same company from July 2021 to September 2023. Before joining M Booth, Diogo held the role of Senior Art Director at the company from April 2020 to June 2021.

In 2016, Diogo started working as a Freelance Design Director, Art Director, and Designer at diogomontes.com. Diogo acted as Creative and Design Director, Art Director, and Visual Designer for various agencies and direct clients in the Arts & Culture industry. Diogo provided concepts, identities, and experiences to amplify the impact of artists and cultural institutions. Some of their notable clients include BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn!, globalFEST, Fado Festival, and Brasil SummerFest.

From 2010 to 2016, Diogo worked at RAPP as a Design Director, Associate Creative Director, and Senior Art Director. Diogo contributed to the creative direction and design of various projects during their time with the company.

Prior to RAPP, Diogo had experience as a Freelance Senior Art Director at diogomontes.com from May 2009 to October 2010. Diogo also worked as a Senior Art Director/Creative Supervisor at Simples Estúdio from January 2009 to April 2009.

Earlier in their career, Diogo held positions such as Senior Art Director/Creative Supervisor at Bendita Soluções Criativas from October 2006 to October 2008, Art Director/Creative Supervisor at Squadra.com Design from June 2006 to September 2006, and Art Director at Bendita Soluções Criativas from May 2004 to May 2006.

Diogo Montes attended Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro from 1997 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Advertising. In 2003, they enrolled in ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing for an Extension program in Advertising - Portfolio for Copywriters & Art Directors, which they completed in 2004.
