Jari Mäkinen

Jari Mäkinen has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Jari is currently the Director of Product Development at M-Files Corporation since February 2020. Before that, they worked as a SW Program Manager at M-Files Suomi from March 2018 to January 2020. In 2017, they pursued business, technology, and leadership studies. From 2010 to 2017, Jari worked at Qualcomm as a Senior Technical Account Manager, where they managed customer engineering teams and supported various mobile and IoT product programs. Prior to that, they served as a SW Program Manager at Symphony Teleca Finland from October 2007 to January 2010. Starting in 2000, Jari worked at Nokia in multiple roles, including Project Manager and Research Engineer.

Jari Mäkinen obtained their MSc degree in Signal Processing and Programming from Tampere University of Technology from 1995 to 2001. Jari also has various certifications in areas such as DevOps foundations, product management, B2B marketing, customer service leadership, program management, and more. These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn, with the most recent certification obtained in February 2018.
