Jorma Törnblom

Jorma Törnblom has extensive work experience in project management and leadership roles. Jorma began their career in 1992 as an enterpreneur, developing a cash flow system and integrating paper mill factory automation equipment with a database. From 1994 to 1998, they worked as a Systems Analyst and Project Manager at UPM-Kymmene Oyj / Raflatac Oy, where they managed the development and maintenance of factory automation IT systems. Jorma then joined Citisoft Oy (now CGI Oyj) in 1998 as a Project Manager until 2001. During this time, they successfully managed various projects and delivered internet e-commerce services. In 2001, they moved to Novo Extend Oy (now CGI Oyj) and continued their role as a Project Manager, overseeing the creation and delivery of internet e-commerce services. In 2002, they worked as a Project Manager at Nice-business Solutions Finland Oy, where they designed and implemented a module to integrate a product data management system with other information management systems. From 2003 to 2012, Jorma worked at Nokia in multiple leadership positions. Jorma managed the delivery and business development of enterprise mobile and consumer mobile and internet solutions. Additionally, they oversaw service management and led virtual cross-functional program teams. In 2012, they completed a business and leadership training program at Tampere University and Tampere University of Technology. Since 2013, Jorma has been working at M-Files, initially as a Senior Project Manager/Senior Service Manager, and progressing to roles such as Head of Project Management Office, Director, and currently as a Senior Director, Head of Project Management Office, Services EMEA. Jorma leads complex IT service delivery projects, follows ITIL processes for service management, and collaborates with bid teams for project and service planning.

Jorma Törnblom earned their M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, with a focus on business economics, statistics, and mathematics, from the University of Tampere from 1990 to 1995. Prior to attending university, they completed their secondary education at Pirkkalan lukio. Jorma has also obtained several certifications from M-Files Corporation, including Certified M-Files Business Administrator in October 2014, Certified M-Files IT Administrator in October 2014, and Certified M-Files User in October 2010.
