Marc May has extensive work experience in the legal and legal tech industries. Marc is currently working at M-Files as an Industry Solutions Director, specializing in the legal sector. Prior to this, Marc founded My Legal Marketplace, a legal tech startup. Marc also founded and served as the Managing Editor of The Legal Technologist, a bi-monthly magazine focused on legal tech.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Marc worked at Ment as the Head of Marketing, where they developed and executed marketing strategies. Marc also worked at SYKE as a Senior Consultant, Practice Director, and Senior Legal Engineer, providing legal engineering solutions to businesses and law firms. Additionally, Marc co-founded Bristol Legal Hackers, a community for legal professionals interested in technology and innovation.

Earlier in their career, Marc worked at RPC as an Automation Specialist and Paralegal, handling solicitor negligence claims and providing litigation support. Marc also worked at Simmons & Simmons as a Practice Support Paralegal, conducting investigations for major financial institutions. Marc began their career in the British Army as a Systems Engineering Technician, responsible for repairing and maintaining radio communications systems.

Throughout their career, Marc has demonstrated strong expertise in legal tech, marketing, consulting, and leadership roles.

Marc May attended St Christopher School, although the specific start and end dates and field of study are unknown. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of the West of England, graduating in 2011. In 2013, Marc enrolled in the University of the West of England once again to complete a Legal Practice Course (pgDip Law), which lasted until 2014.
