Mika Hirvonen

Mika Hirvonen has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Mika started their career at Nokia in 1996 as an Application Specialist and worked there until 2000. Following that, they joined Fujitsu as a Project Manager from 2000 to 2002. Mika then moved to Nice-business Solutions Finland Oy, where they worked as a Project Manager from 2002 to 2003.

In 2003, Mika returned to Nokia, this time as a Project Manager until 2007, after which they took on the role of Program Manager until 2011. Mika then joined Europeana - Koninklijk Bibliotheek Den as a Development Team Manager from 2011 to 2012.

In 2012, Mika joined TAKK for a Java training program, which they participated in until 2013. During the same year, they also worked at Eduix as a Developer, focusing on web application and web service development.

Since 2013, Mika has been with M-Files, starting as an SW Team Manager until 2015. Mika then worked as a Director of Software Maintenance from 2015 to 2018, followed by a role as Director of DevOps and Solutions from 2018 to 2019. From 2020 to 2023, they served as a Director of SW Development, and they are currently holding the position of Senior Director of SW Development.

Mika Hirvonen obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Information Systems from the University of Jyväskylä, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. Additionally, in January 2013, they received the Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer (OCPJP6) certification from Oracle.
