Yvette Hurt has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Yvette began their career in 1995 as a Client Advocate at AWARE, Inc, where they worked for over 12 years. Later, they transitioned to the role of Transitional Housing Case Manager at the same company from November 2007 to February 2010. Yvette then joined Career Quest Learning Centers, Inc. as a student from May 2012 to March 2013. Yvette also worked as a Home Health Aide at Right At Home from July 2012 to December 2013. Yvette joined Muskegon Family Care in April 2014 as a Phone Medical Assistant, where their responsibilities included phone triage, completing prior authorizations, and communicating and receiving information regarding patient care. Yvette then progressed to the role of Quality Improvement Specialist from November 2017 to August 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Quality Improvement Community Health Worker at Muskegon Family Care, starting in August 2019.

Yvette Hurt attended Muskegon Community College in 2019, where they obtained a Certificate in Community Health Worker. Prior to that, they attended Career Quest Learning Centers, Inc. from 2012 to 2013 and obtained a degree as a Registered Medical Assistant with a specialization in Medical/Clinical Assistant.
