Daniel M.

Daniel M. has diverse work experience in various industries. Daniel started their career in 2018 as a Youth Worker at East Renfrewshire Council. In 2021, they worked as a Summer Intern at the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland. Daniel then moved on to StrathLoop (Strathclyde Hyperloop) where they held the roles of Propulsion Team Member from September 2018 to May 2020, and Head of Propulsion Systems from May 2020 to August 2021. Currently, they are working at M Squared as a Laser Manufacturing Engineer Graduate Trainee, starting in February 2023. In addition to their professional experience, Daniel also worked as a Sales Assistant at schuh from November 2016 to February 2023.

Daniel M. began their education at St Luke's High School, where they studied from 2011 to 2016. Daniel did not receive a degree or specialize in any specific field during this time. In 2017, they enrolled at the University of Strathclyde and pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Aero-Mechanical Engineering. Daniel completed their studies in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Daniel M. also obtained several certifications. In 2018, they became a Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate through the SolidWorks Authorized Training Centre. The same year, they obtained a UK Driving License from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA). In 2019, they completed the Expedition Skills Module and the Lowland Leader courses offered by Mountain Training. In 2021, they became a licensed Drone Flyer and Drone Operator through the Civil Aviation Authority. Daniel also holds certifications in Python for Data Analysis from CodeClan (obtained in 2022) and the Bronze Award from The Duke of Edinburgh's Award program (obtained in 2015). Additionally, they obtained a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme certification from Disclosure Scotland in 2018.
