Jim Williams

Government Program Manager at M1 Support Services

Mr. Williams has more than 35 years’ experience in the aviation industry with extensive experience in large fleet program management; forecasting, planning, and budgeting fleet maintenance; 14 CFR Part 145 Repair Station operations; subcontractor management; planning and executing operational and maintenance activities; and monitoring program activity. His experience includes military commercial derivative aircraft as well as commercial (civil) fixed- and rotor-wing aircraft widely dispersed worldwide. Mr. Williams monitors evolving customer requirements, industry trends, and participates in proposal development for new and existing business.

Prior to joining the M1 team, Mr. Williams spent 33 years with L-3 Technologies as a Capture/Proposal Manager, Program Manager, Aircraft Maintenance Manager, and Regional Manager on Department of Defense and Federal Government programs. He has planned, supported, and participated in a variety of military and civil aviation operations domestically and internationally and has lived in Europe and Africa supporting customer operations.

Mr. Williams is a graduate of the Tennessee College of Applied Technology. He started his aviation career in the US Marine Corps assigned to VMAT-102, at Marine Corps Air Station, Yuma, Arizona.
