Karim Bhalwani is the current Principal at M13. Karim has also worked as the Head of GTM at Remitly and as the Director of Business Development at Carta.

Karim has a wealth of experience in helping companies grow and scale. At Remitly, they helped launch a new enterprise API business enabling developers to embed cross-border remittances, digital wallet offramp and global payouts directly into their app. Karim also launched a blockbuster partnership with Coinbase, which enabled wallet users in Mexico to offramp their crypto into Mexican Pesos using the Remitly API.

At Carta, Karim increased sales by 99% across Carta’s Investor Services offerings by launching and managing partnerships with key service providers in the venture ecosystem, including fund formation lawyers, audit & tax firms, and banks.

Karim’s experience and expertise have made him a valuable asset in helping companies grow and scale.

Karim Bhalwani attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business for a Venture Capital Executive Program. Karim then completed their Bachelor's Degree in Business Economics and Accounting from the University of California, Los Angeles. Finally, they completed a Front End Web Development program from General Assembly.
