Timothy Tresierras, Ph.D., P.E. has a varied and extensive work experience. Timothy is currently the Engineering Director at m2e Consulting Engineers since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at ARCCA from May 2018 to January 2023. Dr. Tresierras also served as a Senior Engineer at Exponent Failure Analysis Associates from April 2012 to April 2018, and as an Engineer and Associate at the same company from June 2010 to February 2012.

In addition, they worked as a Prototype Engineer for the Rapid Equipping Force in Afghanistan from July 2014 to November 2014. Timothy has also held teaching positions, including Adjunct Professor at the University of Miami from August 2013 to December 2013, and Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley from August 2008 to December 2008.

During their time at the University of California, Berkeley, Dr. Tresierras also worked as a Graduate Student Instructor for five semesters between 2004 and 2008. Timothy started their career as an intern at Association Reserves, Inc. in June 1998 and later worked as a part-time Project Coordinator until July 2007. Timothy also worked as an intern at Association Reserves from 1999 to 2003. Throughout their career, Dr. Tresierras has gained expertise in mechanical engineering, electro-mechanical systems, materials science, vibrational and acoustic analysis, and prototype design.

Timothy Tresierras, Ph.D., P.E. obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Northridge. Timothy attended the university between 1997 and 2003.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Timothy pursued their Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Dynamics and Continuum Mechanics at the University of California, Berkeley. Timothy attained their Ph.D. degree from 2003 to 2009.

In terms of additional certifications, Timothy Tresierras is a Licensed Professional Engineer in both Florida and California. Timothy received their license from the Florida Board of Professional Engineers in January 2012 and from the Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists in California in December 2011.

Furthermore, Timothy holds a certification as a Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) from SolidWorks-CADCAMCIM Inc. Timothy obtained this certification in December 2009.
