Regional Operations Manager at Maaco Corporation

Bruce Tokiwa has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Bruce started their career as an Owner/Operator of two successful franchises at COUNTRY STYLE DONUTS, where they achieved high revenues and managed a team of 40 employees. Bruce then worked as a Site Manager at Petro Canada before becoming a Branch Manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

After that, Tokiwa joined Totalline Transport Inc as a Sales Representative, followed by a role as an Account Representative at Intelliware Development Inc. Bruce then transitioned to the role of Franchise Operations Manager at Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group.

Tokiwa later held positions at Belron Canada Inc, first as the Director of Fleet in Ontario, West and Atlantic regions, and then as the Director of Insurance for the same regions. Bruce successfully developed national insurance sales and negotiated agreements with insurance brokers.

Subsequently, Tokiwa worked at Maaco Corporation as the Director of Marketing & National Account Sales, where they collaborated on branding strategies and sales strategy development. Bruce also managed a $750,000 budget for radio, TV, and print negotiations.

Tokiwa returned to NAPA AUTO PARTS as the Regional Manager for the Ontario region, where they expanded the paint, body, and supplies market through targeted calls and new contract negotiations.

Currently, they serve as the Regional Operations Manager at Maaco Corporation, where they ensure consistent management system implementation and coaches franchisees to improve store operational performance. Bruce also manages the operations budget and validates store visit and remote coaching documentation.

Bruce Tokiwa graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1988. Bruce has also obtained several certifications from LinkedIn in various areas such as leadership, communication, emotional intelligence, coaching, strategic thinking, and sales management. These certifications were obtained between April and May 2020.
