Wassim Saad

Wassim Saad has extensive work experience in internal audit, finance, and accounting roles. Wassim started their career at Petromin Corporation in 1989, holding various positions such as Payroll Accountant, Accounts Payable Accountant, and eventually becoming the Finance Manager. In 1997, they transitioned to Maaden, where they progressed from Internal Audit Manager to Chief Internal Control Officer, overseeing internal control functions and compliance with company policies. Wassim also held the role of Chief Audit Executive, designing and implementing global assurance activities for the company. Throughout their career, Wassim has demonstrated a strong focus on enhancing operational effectiveness and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Wassim Saad holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Custom Studies from Alexandria University, obtained in 1986, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Financial Auditing from the same university, obtained in 1984. Wassim also has a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, specializing in Financial and Strategic Management, from Mahatma Gandhi University, obtained in 2012. Additionally, they completed the Executive Leadership Program in Organizational Leadership at Harvard Business School. Wassim Saad holds various certifications in areas such as international financial reporting standards, risk management, financial services auditing, fraud examination, information systems control, and risk analysis.
