Tim Schmitz

Tim Schmitz is an experienced professional currently serving as the COO of Ground Handling at Maastricht Aachen Airport since May 2022. Prior to this role, Tim held various positions at ROCKWOOL Group, including Manager of Production from February 2020 to May 2022, and spent several years at VDL Nedcar where responsibilities included Head of Production Quality Final Assembly, Shiftleader, and Production Engineer for a BMW project from November 2013 to February 2020. Tim's career began with an internship at VIRO from September 2012 to February 2013. Tim holds a degree in Werktuigbouwkunde from Zuyd Hogeschool | Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, completed between 2008 and 2013, and graduated from Trevianum with a HAVO NT degree in 2008.
