Meike Thijsen

Meike Thijsen is a Junior Lecturer and Student Ambassador at Universiteit Maastricht since August 2020, with a focus on education in artificial intelligence. Meike has held roles as a Junior Developer and Office Assistant at Psylaris, and as an Intern at the European Space Agency, specializing in Natural Language Processing. Additionally, Meike served as a Board member for MSV Incognito, focusing on sustainability and education. Previous experience includes being Treasurer for SV KoKo and working as a service medewerker at Hotel Theater Figi. Meike holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and a Bachelor's degree in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from Maastricht University, along with an exchange semester at Université Toulouse 1 Capitole and participation in the U-Talent programme at Utrecht University.
