Ward Deckers

Ward Deckers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in organizational consultancy and interim management, currently serving as a partner at Hiemstra & De Vries since September 2014. Deckers holds multiple complementary roles, including as a member of the supervisory board at Maaswaarden ouderenzorg and as the faction leader for PvdA Brabant in Provincie Noord-Brabant. Recent positions include acting director of space in Gemeente Utrecht and interim concern manager of spatial development in Gemeente Zwijndrecht. Deckers has also held significant roles in the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management and the City of Rotterdam, focusing on sustainable mobility and environmental planning. An MSc in Public Administration from Radboud University further supports Deckers' expertise in public governance and project management.
